Optional Excursions

Optional excursions are available to make your trip even more spectacular. All excursions can be booked and paid for during the booking process. You will receive all practical information before departure.

• Jeep safari and barbecue dinner in Dubai desert (day 1 or 8) • Take an off-road adventure in a jeep through the golden sands of the desert. Ride on a camel or get a temporary henna tattoo. As the sun goes down, you will enjoy a barbecue dinner and traditional belly dance show in the light of the torches.

• Dhow cruise with dinner (day 2) • Experience Dubai from a different perspective as you gently sail along Dubai Creek on a traditional Arabic dhow boat. Onboard you will find a sumptuous party buffet with both Arabic and international dishes, accompanied by Dubai's glamorous waterfront and the beautifully lit skyline.

• Entrance ticket to Burj Khalifa (day 2) • Visit a Dubai icon and take the world's fastest lift up into the world's tallest building - the Burj Khalifa. From the viewing platform on the 125th floor, you can experience magnificent panoramic views of Dubai!

• Entrance ticket to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (day 4) • The Ferrari World indoor park houses the world's fastest roller coaster and 36 other breathtaking and interactive (as well as child-friendly!) attractions.

• Private guided tour in Ras Al Khaimah (day 7) • Get to know Ras Al Khaima on a full-day trip, including breakfast. The first stop is the former fishing village Al Jazirah Al Hamra, followed by the captivating old bazaar, the Emirates' oldest fort Dhayah, and a typical Arabic lunch.

Passport, visa and health requirements	The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. Tour occupancy	Max 3 adults and 1 infant up to age of 5 per room
Single supplement	The single supplement is based on travel dates and duration of travel. You will see the final price in the booking process.
Children's discount	Based on two full-paying adults per room, travellers will receive a discount on hotel stays for children 14 years and younger. This is dependent on the chosen travel period, age, and whether the child sleeps in a separate bed. Please note: children up to 12 months old receive a discount on the plane ticket, but will not receive a seat or baggage allowance.
Third-person discount	The third-person discount is based on the departure date and duration of the trip. You will see the final price in the booking process.
Infant bed	Unfortunately, cots are not available throughout this trip.
Pets	Pets are not permitted on this trip due to international plane travel.
Flight times	Please note that flights may be subject to change, delay or postponement by the provider and that flight times are provisional. Don't forget to check the actual flight times before departure on the website of the airline or the airport to avoid inconvenient surprises.
Travel documents	You will receive all documents relevant to your trip, 7 days prior to departure at the latest
Passport	Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of entry into the UAE. The UAE immigration authority advise British nationals with Israeli visas or stamps in their passports - expired or valid - will not have problems when entering the UAE for tourism. If you have any questions, contact the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in London.
Visa	British citizens can get a 30 day visitor's visa upon arrival in the UAE. Other types of British nationality (e.g. British Overseas Citizen or British National Overseas) need a visa from the nearest UAE Embassy before arrival. For up to date information visit the official gov.uk website.
Vaccinations	You should be up to date on routine vaccinations while travelling to any destination. Vaccinations recommended for travel in the United Arab Emirates include; Tetanus. Consult your doctor or the NHS travel advice website for more information.
Currency	The national currency of the United Arab Emirates is the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED).
Group travel	During this trip, transport and excursions could be in groups of international travellers.
Travel schedule	The specified itinerary is subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Transport	Your driver will be waiting to welcome you at the airport. You will receive all transport information before departure.
Guided tour of Dubai (Day 2)	The Dubai City Tour is not available on Fridays. Should day 2 of your trip land on a Friday, the City Tour will be held on day 8.
