• Guided city tour in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (day 2) • Discover Phnom Penh's main sights during a guided city tour. Along the way, visit the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum, where you will see the country's best collection of Khmer art. You also pass the impressive Independence Monument as well as a local market. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Choeung Ek, which commemorates the victims of the Cambodian genocide. This excursion lasts 8 hours and includes transport, guide, lunch and entrance fees.
• Phnom Sampeau and Bat Cave tour (day 3) • Head to Phnom Sampeau by Tuk Tuk with an English-speaking guide for breathtaking views from the small temple atop a hill. As the sun sets, bear witness to a spectacular display as thousands of bats emerge to fly in tandem across the dusky sky. This tour lasts 3 hours.
• Full-day city tour of Battambang (day 4) •. This full-day tour takes you to the impressive Ek Phnom, an 11th-century Angkorian ruin built as a Hindu temple, before heading to Mrs Bun Roeung's Ancient House, one of around 20 traditional Khmer heritage houses in Wat Kor village. After a local lunch, you will spend the afternoon at Phnom Bannon Hill, climbing 337 steps to reach the 12th-century Phnom Banan temple, before experiencing a traditional Cambodian Bamboo train! This excursion lasts 8 hours and includes guide, entrance fees and lunch.
• Full-day Siem Reap Tour (day 7) • This excursion will take you to Banteay Srei, one of the most unusual temples of Angkor, mainly built of red sandstone with elaborately carved decorations. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Grand Circuit of Angkor Wat including Ta Som, Neak Pean Temple and Preah Khan Temple. This excursion lasts 8 hours and includes entrance fees, guide, transfers and lunch.
• Boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake (day 8) • You will be picked up at 08:00 for your boat trip on Lake Tonle Sap. On the tour, you will visit a floating village with 5-6 metre-high pile houses, which are either freely on land or with piles wholly covered with water. You also visit the Art and Crafts Center Les Artisans d 'Angkor, where you can see how sculptures are carved into wood and carved into stone. This excursion lasts 4 hours and includes entrance fees and guide.
• Full-day Saigon Trishaw Tour (day 10) • For the full Ho Chi Minh experience with an English-speaking guide, book a three-hour cycle tour to experience the local life of Ho Chi Minh. Returning to your hotel around 10:30, you will be picked up again at around 13:30 for a tour of Saigon City Landmarks, including Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. You will then head to the Jade Emperor Pagoda and War Remnant Museum, before ending up on the Ben Thanh Market for a unique shopping experience.
• Full-day excursion Cao Dai Temple & Cu Chi tunnels (day 11) • At 07:30, you start the drive to Tay Ninh, where you will find the famous Cao Dai Temple. The religion is a mix of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. Inside the temple, you can see countless colourful dragons and religious figures, while Buddhist symbols decorate the outside. You will then continue towards the Cu Chi Tunnels, offering a unique insight into underground life during the Vietnam War. This excursion includes guide and lunch.
• Saigon After Dark Vespa tour (day 12) • Itching to get a taste of the world-renowned scooter-culture of Southeast Asia? Book a Saigon After Dark Vespa tour on day 12. Departing at 18:00, this special tour is designed to show visitors another side of Ho Chi Minh City, and see Saigon come to life at night!
