All Roads Lead to Rome
From the Trevi Fountain and the Roman Forum to the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps, Rome's rich and varied history is visible around pretty much every corner that you turn. As well as checking out these hugely important historic sites, be sure to also check out the magnificent Sistine Chapel during your stay too — here you can see Michelangelo's spectacular Last Judgment, which took him 4 years to complete! Naturally it goes without saying that any trip to Rome is every bit as much of a culinary adventure as it is a step back in time. You can look forward to sipping on a fresh coffee accompanied by a cream-filled Roman Maritozzo in the morning and rounding off your day with a hearty plate of Bucatini alla Matriciana — both of which are native to the city. Rome also has a staggering 125 city-run food markets when you want to snack on something in-between!
