The Irish 'Wild Atlantic Way' is a 2,500-kilometre route that takes you through beautiful landscapes, and cultural and historical sights. On this road trip, you'll see part of the route as you travel from Dublin to Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare and Kerry. There are plenty of opportunities on the route to explore the region's unique, unspoiled locations at your own pace. In particular, the west coast of Ireland offers spectacular natural scenes in which green plains with grazing sheep contrast with the rough cliffs and endless stretches of beach. All of your hotels along with way come with breakfast, along with tickets to some of Ireland's top attractions. A fjord cruise has even been arranged for you. Optional excursions

If you want to make your trip even more unforgettable, you can book the following excursions. Excursions can be selected when booking.

• Oyster experience in Sligo (Day 4) On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (4pm) you have the opportunity to experience Sligo's local oyster culture. In addition to interesting information about the harvest of oysters, you will receive tips and tricks on how to open the precious mussels and finally have the opportunity to taste them. The experience lasts about 1 hour. An English-speaking guide, oyster tasting and a glass of wine are included.

• Boat tour on the cliffs of Moher (Day 8) • A boat trip on the cliffs of Moher (March to October, daily at 12pm and 3pm) is a spectacular experience. The boat sails about 20 minutes before arriving at the steepest part of the rock formation. The boat tour takes about 1 hour. An audio guide in English, French, German, Spanish or Italian is included.

• Horse-drawn carriage ride in Killarney (Day 9 or 10) • Enjoy the purest Irish tradition on board a Killarney horse-drawn carriage. In one of the traditional horse-drawn carriages called "Jaunting Cars" you will be taken from Killarney to Ross Castle, which takes about 1 hour. The tour includes a guide and is available 7 days a week, at 10am,, 11am or 12pm.

• Titanic Experience in Cobh (Days 11 or 12) • Not far from Cork, in the city of Cobh, you can check in on a (virtual) trip across the Atlantic at the Titanic Experience Museum. During the visit, you can experience life on board the fateful Titanic. The guided part of the experience lasts about 1 hour, after which you can explore the museum on your own. Times: April to September between 9am and 6pm, October to March between 10am and 5.30pm. The one-hour tours take place every 15-30 minutes.

• Jameson Distillery Midleton Tour (Day 11 or 12) • Discover the fascinating history of Irish whiskey by visiting the Jameson Distillery in Midleton. You will learn everything about the different stages of whiskey production - from grain picking to malting, fermentation, distillation, maturation and bottling. The tour lasts about 75 minutes and includes an English-speaking guide.

Payment

If you book this deal before 35 days of your departure, you can choose to pay in parts. The deposit will be 50% of the deal’s price plus the booking fee and travel and/or cancellation insurance (when applicable).
