Excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum

During this excursion you will visit one of the most famous concentration camps in the world: the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum. In this camp, about 1.5 million people died under the Nazi regime. First you will see a documentary about the history of concentration camps in Poland. Next, head to Auschwitz I, which served as the administrative centre for the entire camp. Here you get a guided tour for 2 hours by an English-speaking museum guide. Then you will be taken to Auschwitz II - Birkenau, which is about 2 kilometres away. This part served as a concentration camp and thus includes gas chambers and crematoriums.

The excursion lasts approximately 7-8 hours and takes place on Day 2 of your trip. It is not recommended for children under 14 years old. You will be picked up from your hotel at around 8am and return at around 4-4.30pm.

Passport, visa and health requirements

The passport, visa and health requirements (including those related to COVID-19) at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements, before you travel. Please be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.

Occupancy

Single supplement

The single supplement is based on travel dates and duration of travel. You will see the final price in the booking process.

Children’s discount

Based on two full-paying adults per room, travellers will receive a discount on hotel stays for children 12 years and younger. This is dependent on the chosen travel period and whether the child sleeps in a separate bed.

Infant bed
