Here, you can breathe in the calmness and fresh sea air, while admiring the old city walls and soaking up the sun on the beach. You’ll have the choice of staying in hotels or traditional riads, which is a typical Moroccan 'bed and breakfast', with plenty of charm and authenticity. If you are travelling on the 5 night round trip, the excursions take place on day 5 before or after the included city walk. If you choose to travel for 7 nights, you can choose to take the excursions on day 6 or 7. The excursions can be booked and paid for during the booking process.

• Tour of Marrakech's souk and medina •

On this excursion, you’ll go with your English-speaking guide to the famous square and the city's main square, Djema al-Fna, from where you can explore the ancient medina. The lively medina is on UNESCO's World Heritage List, and it’s not difficult to see why. It’s hard not to be captivated by its charm, powerful scents and lively stalls. Discover the city's bazaar, packed with Oriental spices, golden lanterns, beautiful fabrics and more. There is no limit to what you’ll be able to see around the medina - everything from historic buildings to beautiful ceramic dishes and lively jugglers. The tour lasts approx. 3 hours and takes place at 10 am or 2 pm.

• Hot air balloon over Marrakech and camel riding •

Here, you’ll enjoy an experience that you’ll treasure for life! You start the tour with a light Berbere breakfast before rising into the sky in a hot air balloon and watching the sun rise over the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech's rooftops. After you land, you’ll ride a camel in Marrakech's palm groves, after which you will be driven back to the city with a four-wheel drive. The excursion will start at. 05.00 and lasts approx. 4 hours, of which approx. 40 minutes is spent in the hot air balloon ride. Transport and breakfast are included. Please note that the excursion may be shared with others and is not recommended for people with poor health as well as children under 3 years. If the weather is not appropriate, the flight will be postponed (or reimbursed).

Payment

If you book this deal before 35 days of your departure, you can choose to pay in parts. The deposit will be 50% of the deal’s price plus the booking fee and travel and/or cancellation insurance (when applicable). Single supplement	The single supplement is based on travel dates and duration of travel. You will see the final price in the booking process.
Children's discount	On the basis of two full-paying adults, a discount for children may be offered dependent on the chosen travel dates and length of stay. You will see the applicable discount in the final booking process. Please note: children up to 12 months old receive a discount on the plane ticket, but will not receive a seat or baggage allowance.
Infant bed	Unfortunately, cots are not available throughout this trip.
Pets	Pets are not permitted on this trip due to international plane travel.

Group Travel	This trip is an individual tour and you will not be traveling with a group. However, the included and optional excursions take place in a group. Transport between Marrakech and Essaouira is also shared with other travellers. If you want private transport, you can order this in the booking process.
Moroccan culture and time keeping	Be aware that in Morocco, people will often be a little more relaxed about handling pick-up times and meeting places than you might be used to. However, while they may be later than expected, your driver will make sure you are picked up and transported safely to your destinations.
Transport between the airport and accommodation	At Marrakech airport, your driver will be waiting for you with a sign with our logo and / or your name (s). You will receive more information about the transfer together with your travel documents
Riad accommodation	A riad is a traditional Moroccan home where the inner garden is the central element. Every riad has a beautifully unique look and feel, and most traditional riads are family owned, providing an intimate, boutique experience for guests. Your riad may not be directly accessible by car. When staying in these riads, the hotel staff will meet you at your car and accompany you on the short walk to your accommodation.
