• Hanoi Vespa Tour (Half Day, Day 3) •

During this tour you can fully immerse yourself in the Vietnamese culture on the back of a Vespa! You will be picked up and drive to the old town, where you can still see the French and Chinese influences in the architecture. You will also pass the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the banks of the immense West Lake. You will also visit An Duong Market where the locals do their shopping and cross the impressive Long Bien Bridge. As you move around the city, you will experience different eras, seeing opulent buildings and more primitive homes as well as vibrant markets. Your guide will tell you the story of Hanoi along the way, plus you'll visit a local family!

• The Phi Phi Islands, Maya Bay and Bamboo island (full day, day 13 or 14) •

Take a speedboat from Phuket to the islands of Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le, which are approximately 48 km from Phuket. Be amazed by picturesque bays, deep caves, pearly white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and beautiful coral reefs. You will also cruise to the Pileh lagoon, ideal for snorkeling and swimming and the "Viking Cave", where you can still see prehistoric wall paintings. Afterwards you can relax on Monkey Beach. Plus, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then you will cruise back to Phuket by speedboat and you will be transferred back to your hotel from the jetty.

Passport, visa and health requirements

The passport, visa and health requirements (including those related to COVID-19) at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements, before you travel. Single supplement

Third-person discount

The third-person discount is based on the departure date and duration of the trip. You will see the final price in the booking process.

Children's discount

Based on two full-paying adults per room, travellers will receive a discount on hotel stays for children 11 years and younger. This is dependent on the chosen travel period and whether the child sleeps in a separate bed. Please note: children up to 12 months old receive a discount on the plane ticket, but will not receive a seat or baggage allowance.

Pets

Pets are not permitted on this trip due to international plane travel.

Gala Dinner

For trips including the dates of 24th December and/or 31st December, a luxury gala dinner will be added to the itinerary. This is not included in the price of the booking.

Baggage allowance

Passport

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.

Visa

For travel in Cambodia and Laos, a visa is required for British citizens. This can be done on arrival or online before travelling.

For Vietnam and Thailand, British citizens do not need a visa. For up-to-date information, visit the official gov.uk website or the relevant embassy.

Vaccinations

All travellers should be up to date with primary courses and boosters. Vaccinations usually recommended for travel to Indochina include Diphtheria; Hepatitis A; Tetanus. Consult your doctor or the NHS travel advice website for more information.

Currency

The national currencies of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand are the Vietnamese don (VND), the Cambodian riel (KHR), the Lao kip (LAK) and the Thai baht (THB).
