Hever Castle was originally built in 1270, and was beautifully restored to its royal grandeur. The grounds and gardens around the castle are like a romantic fairy tale brought to life. Bask in the scent of thousands of blooms in the English Rose Garden, admire the dramatic topiary chess pieces, and let your imagination guide you through the twists and turns of the Hever Garden Maze. You can also upgrade your visit to include entrance to Hever Castle on the day, in person. This visit is self-guided. Visiting times will be pre-booked before your arrival.

• Canterbury Cathedral • (day 3) Founded over 1,400 years ago, Canterbury Cathedral is an important symbol of the history of England, and a place that will always leave you feeling awed by its splendour. Admire the architectural magnificence of the world-famous cathedral as you walk around the interior, from the vivid coloured stained-glass windows depicting religious icons, the shrine of Thomas Becket, and the many tombs and relics from centuries' past. Don't forget to look up at the vast Gothic nave, and stroll around the serene grounds outside for some timeless peace. This visit is self-guided.
