Travelling here means that you can decide to simply slow down, and enjoy the great outdoors. Thanks to the freedom of your own rental car, you can explore the country on your own, but of course we have put together a few must-see suggestions and excursions for you! On an optional excursion, you can visit the famous Pulpit Rock, go on scenic hikes or take the Flåmsbana ride, which is considered one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world! If you've never travelled to Norway before, you'll soon find yourself wanting to plan your next return - this beautiful country is impossible to resist!

• Holmenkollen Ski Museum (day 1, day 8/10 or day 10/11) • Holmenkollen is the Mecca for all cross-country skiers, biathletes and ski jumpers. So it's no wonder that the oldest ski museum in the world, with a 4,000-year history of skiing, is located here. Enjoy the fantastic view over Oslo from the ski jump tower and experience a "jump" from the Holmenkollenschanze using a simulator. Admission to the museum is included on this excursion.

• Pulpit Rock Fjord cruise without hike (day 5, approx. 3 hours) • On this excursion you will take a boat trip to Lysefjord and the massive Pulpit Rock, which Tom Cruise climbed in the movie "Mission Impossible 6"! Let the fresh Norwegian air blow around you and enjoy the sight of the breathtaking Norwegian nature. The boat trip is included on this excursion.

• Pulpit Rock Fjordcruise with hike (day 5, all day - approx. 4 hours hike + approx. 5 hours boat trip) • If it isn't enough to simply see Pulpit Rock, but you want to climb it too, then this is the perfect excursion for you! Take a boat to Lysefjord and then hike up Pulpit Rock. You will experience the amazing landscape first hand, from waterfalls to caves to the highlight - the incredible view! After the descent you will be taken back to Stavanger by bus. The boat and bus trip are included in this excursion. Possible dates: 01.08-16.08.2020 & 20.06-16.08.2021

• Fjord cruise Mostraumen (day 7, approx. 3 hours) • Narrow fjords, steep mountainsides and roaring waterfalls - take a fantastic boat trip in the fjord landscape from Bergen! Sit back and enjoy nature. Your boat will come so close to a waterfall that you can feel the splash of water on your face and discover the power of the waterfall yourself. An absolutely fascinating experience! The boat trip is included on this excursion.

• Flåmsbana round trip by train (day 8, approx. 2 hours) • On this excursion you have the opportunity to take a round trip by train. The Flåmsbana trip is one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world and offers a perfect insight into the breathtaking landscape of western Norway. The train runs from the Sognefjord in Flåm to Myrdal mountain station, which is 867 metres above sea level. The train ride is included on this excursion.

Payment

If you book this deal before 35 days of your departure, you can choose to pay in parts. The deposit will be 50% of the deal’s price plus the booking fee and travel and/or cancellation insurance (when applicable). You will find the payment amounts and deadlines to pay every installment at the last step of the booking process.

Occupancy	Maximum of 2 adults per room
Single supplement	The single supplement is based on travel dates and duration of travel. You will see the final price in the booking process.
Children's discount	One child can receive a discount based on 2 full-paying adults per room. The discount depends on the selected travel time and duration. Complete your booking process to see the final price. Children up to the age of 1 pay a reduced fare and are not entitled to a seat and, depending on the airline, are not entitled to checked baggage.

Rental car	An excess risk applies in the event of theft or damage. A credit card deposit is required upon arrival. Comprehensive insurance, non-life insurance, liability insurance, theft insurance and cover for glass, tires, floor and roof damage is included. You will receive all rental car information along with your travel documents.
Parking at hotels	Please check possible parking fees at your hotel before your arrival.
Returning to the airport	Please allow enough time to drive to the airport and return the rental car.
Flight times	Please note that flights may be subject to change, delay or postponement by the provider and that flight times are provisional. Don't forget to check the actual flight times before departure on the website of the airline or the airport to avoid inconvenient surprises.
Travel documents	You will receive your travel documents no later than 5 days before departure.
Group travel	This is an individual trip and you will not be travelling with a group. Transport and excursions may be in groups of international travellers.
Similar accommodation	In some circumstances, the hotel specified in the itinerary may not be available. In this case, you will be transferred to a comparable hotel in the vicinity. You will receive details of your definitive accommodation five days before departure.
