The dinner cruise begins at 6:30 pm with a welcome cocktail "Dawa", as the dhow sails towards Fort Jesus. The fortress Fort Jesus (entry can also be booked optionally) was built by the Portuguese at the end of the 16th century on the coast to protect the city from intruders from outside. The twinkling lights of Mombasa and the starlit sky provide an idyllic setting for a delicious seafood dinner, carefully prepared in Swahili style on the deck in front of guests. The island city of Mombasa on the Indian Ocean in Kenya consists of a mixture of old and modern buildings.
