The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements, before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.

When travelling to Madagascar with a British passport, you will need a visa. You can purchase these upon arrival. For current information regarding a visa, we advise you to visit the website of the Dutch government and the embassy.

When traveling to Madagascar, vaccinations against DTP and hepatitis A are recommended. Consult your GP, or the gov.uk website for current health advice.

In Madagascar, the national currency is the Madagascar Ariary (MGA).

This is an individual trip and you will not be travelling with a group. Transport and excursions may be in groups of international travellers.

We'll let you know the name of your hotel, at least 7 days before departure.

During your trip you have domestic flights. Please note that checked baggage on this flight cannot weigh more than 20 kg. Hand luggage may be max. 5 kg per person. If you exceed this, the airline may charge extra costs. We do not accept any responsibility for this.
