No compulsory vaccinations are required when traveling to South Africa from the UK. However, a yellow fever vaccination must be proven when entering from a yellow fever area.

British citizens must have a passport to travel to South Africa. Travel documents must be valid for at least 30 days, or ideally 6 months beyond the day of departure and have at least two free pages for visa stamps.


You do not need a visa to enter South Africa from the UK.
