Glittering deep snow and white coniferous forests with frozen lakes meet the heavenly play of colours of the Northern Lights. You can even spend a night in a magical glass igloo on the shores of Lake Ranuanjärvi, with panoramic views of the Lappish sky to hopefully observe this enigmatic phenomenon from the comfort of your warm and cosy bubble.

Located in the north of Finland, this is one of the most beautiful regions in the world, and you can spend three or four nights on the edge of the Nordic wilderness. Here you can meet playful huskies, reindeer and even polar bears, and go on a winter safari in the Ranua Wildlife Park to see arctic foxes, snowy owls, moose, lynx and many other animals. Excursions

Here's more information on a selection of excursions which you'll embark on, depending on the offer you book:

• Northern Lights snowmobile safari (approx. three hours) • Chase the magical northern lights by snowmobile. Please note that the Northern Lights are a naturally occurring phenomenon, and while we hope they'll oblige, we cannot guarantee you'll be able to see them.

• Husky safari (approx. two hours) • Let's go on the wild ride with the beautiful sled dogs! During this traditional way of travelling in the arctic regions, you will be accompanied by a guide and you will learn everything you always wanted to know about huskies.

• Visiting Santa Claus (approx. 45 minutes) • Your guide will lead you through the snow-dusted forest until you see a light in the dark: Santa's house! This is an unforgettable experience for young and old.

• Meet the polar bears (approx. 45 minutes) • Meet the largest predators in the world. Your guide will give you an interesting insight into their life and the Wildlife Park.

• Reindeer safari (approx. 40 minutes)• Prancer, Dancer, Blitzen and Vixen... enjoy a safari ride through the winter wilderness and let a pack of reindeers whisk you on your way. You'll certainly be in the Christmas spirit after dashing through the snow on an open sleigh...

Payment

If you book this deal before 35 days of your departure, you can choose to pay in parts. The deposit will be 50% of the deal’s price plus the booking fee and travel and/or cancellation insurance (when applicable). You will find the payment amounts and deadlines to pay every installment at the last step of the booking process.

Passport, visa and health requirements	The passport, visa and health requirements (including those related to COVID-19) at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements, before you travel. Please be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.
Price changes	Please note that the flights included in this offer are subject to live availability and price, and can change during your booking process. When this is the case, we will always notify during the booking process.
Occupancy	A maximum of two people for a trip with an overnight stay in an igloo; and a maximum of six people for a trip with three or four nights in a Superior apartment.
Child policy	One child can receive a discount based on two full-paying adults per room. The discount depends on the selected travel time and duration. Complete your booking process to see the final price.
Infant bed	Available on request, please contact our customer service.
Pets	Pets are not permitted on this trip.
Timing of included excursions	Each travel package includes one or more breathtaking excursions. Please note that the excursions take place in the Finnish countryside and depend on the weather. There may be shifts in the days and times of excursions.
Group travel	This is an individual trip and you will not be travelling with a group. Transport and excursions may be in groups of international travellers.
Northern Lights	The northern lights are a natural phenomenon - their appearance is difficult to predict and depends on natural conditions. Therefore sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Travel documents	You will receive your travel documents five days prior to departure at the latest.
Weather-dependent activities	Please note that the snow cover early in the season is not guaranteed, and should it be insufficient for your snow excursions, alternate activities will be offered.
