You'll begin in Oslo, the country's vibrant capital where Norway's Viking heritage brushes shoulders with cutting-edge architecture and a buzzing cosmopolitan scene. Next, you'll take to some of the world's highest tracks as you journey from Oslo towards Flåm by train, before enjoying a stunning cruise through the Sognefjord, the world's deepest fjord, where breathtaking panoramas unfold in an ever-changing kaleidoscope of staggering beauty. Your final stop will be Bergen, Norway's second-largest city and home of postcard-perfect vistas and award-winning cuisine.

Day 2: Guided Oslo bus tour

Discover the city of Oslo with a five-hour bus tour. Your certified local guide will take you to the breathtaking Holmenkollen Ski Jump and on a guided tour through the unique artworks of Vigeland Sculpture Park. You’ll also go with them around the Fram Museum and the Viking Ship Museum, learning all about local history and culture.

Day 4: Half-day excursion to Fjærland

Sail through the beautiful Fjærland fjord and soak in spectacular views of the steep mountain slopes, glittering fjord and vibrant landscape. Arrive at Fjærland, where the glacier meets the fjord; from here a shuttle bus will take you to the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Take in Ivo Caprino's panoramic film about the Jostedalen Glacier, and explore the fascinating exhibition. Your trip continues by coach to the two glaciers – Supphellebreen and Bøyabreen – before the coach takes you back to Fjærland. End the excursion with a boat trip back to Balestrand. (This excursion is only available between 1 June and 15 September).

Day 6: Round trip cruise Bergen – Mostraumen

On this cruise, you will be taken safely through powerful currents of the shallow and narrow Mostraumen Straits. As you progress deeper into the fjord, the steeper and more imposing the mountain landscape becomes. The captain will steer the boat as close as possible to one of the beautiful waterfalls so you can get up close and feel the rushing power of nature. Keep an eye out on your journey through the beautiful fjord, as this landscape is rich in bird and animal life; with a little luck, you might even spot an eagle soaring high above you.

Day 6 or 7: Visit to MAGIC ICE Bergen

You’ve seen it all over social media, now prepare to experience the magic of the ice bar for yourself! Step into the coolest experience in the city, where everything - from the bar to the drinks glasses themselves - is made from crystal-clear ice.

Day 6 or 7: Bergen Food and Culture Walk

This excursion will take you on an immersive journey through Bergen’s culinary and cultural heritage. Stroll through the city’s charming streets, stopping along the way to sample local delicacies like fresh seafood, traditional pastries and artisanal cheeses. As you explore , your knowledgeable guides will share stories about Bergen’s history, traditions and vibrant local culture.
