As islands go, Italy’s Forio d’Ischia is arguably one of the Mediterranean's most intriguing and perhaps one of its most underrated thanks to its better-known neighbour - Capri - stealing all the limelight. But beautiful Ischia offers up its very own host of Italian delights - a labyrinth of thermal spa towns, magical forests and ancient vineyards - and you'll stay right in the centre of it all. When you're not sauntering around in the hotel's gardens and dipping in and out of an inviting outdoor pool, then head to nearby Nitrodi Natural Springs for a detoxifying soak in waters that have been flowing from the Barano mountainside and attracting bathers since Roman times.

Day 4: Procida
The quaint, picturesque island of Procida shouldn’t be overlooked by those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy some true R&R - it's peaceful, intimate, and exclusive, with an authentic charm that stays true to its traditions.
