The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements, before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.

Flight times and carriers will be confirmed by Exoticca Travel UK Ltd after you have made your booking. Within 7 days of confirming your booking with us, you’ll receive an email from the supplier, Exoticca Travel UK Ltd, with your final booking confirmation detailing the exact flight times confirmed for your specific reservation. The flight time will be within the time parameters and possible airlines detailed in this offer.

For a full experience of Egypt, you can choose one of our optional excursion packages to add three/four optional excursions to your trip.

Please note, the order of the optional excursions may vary depending on your departure day. Optional excursions can only be reserved at the time of booking, or up to four days after booking.

Please be aware that if you arrive after 9pm to your first hotel, dinner is not included. Instead, you have the option to reserved a packed dinner with the hotel in advance after booking.

Please also note that at the time of booking, your name must be filled out exactly as per your passport (including any middle names). This is in order to accurately book flights and for any required visa invitation letters.

Passport details are necessary to obtain a free visa. A copy of the passport of all travellers must be sent to customerservice@exoticca.com once your reservation is complete.

Your Egypt Visa will be issued on arrival (costing approximately $25). To obtain your free visa upon arrival, managed by our travel partner in Jordan (OR at the destination), we require your confirmed flight details at least 30 days prior to your departure.

If you arrive in the early hours between 12am and 6am, please add the optional early check-in option to have access to your room. Please note that there is a supplement to access your room before regular check-in hours.

Unless otherwise agreed, please be aware that if you arrive on an early flight, you may not have access to your hotel room until check-in, which is between 12pm and 3pm.

Please be aware that this trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the nature of the excursions and the terrain.

However, please note that this tour can be taken privately. There will be a private guide and a specifically designed itinerary to ensure maximum enjoyment. The excursions will be taken via alternative routes with ease of access and the pace will be dictated by the passenger. To take part in the private tour, it is required that the person with reduced mobility is accompanied by a dedicated person at all times, to assist in any necessary situations, such as getting in and out of the transport vehicle, on excursions, and so on.

Please note that a deposit of 35% of the travel price must be paid within 48 hours of your booking; the remaining balance of 65% is due no later than 60 days before departure. The travel booking only becomes binding when you receive our travel confirmation.

For travellers arriving in Egypt on a Thursday, please note that the flight the following day from Cairo to Aswan usually departs early in the morning, so you will be required to leave for the airport before dawn.

The order of the itinerary may differ depending on your arrival day at the destination:

Monday and Saturday: 2 nights Amman, 2 nights Petra, 1 night Wadi Rum, 2 nights Amman.

Tuesday and Sunday: 1 night Amman, 2 nights Petra, 1 night Wadi Rum, 3 nights Amman.

Friday: 3 nights Amman, 2 nights Petra, 1 night Wadi Rum, 1 night Amman.

The order of the itinerary in Egypt varies according to the day of arrival:

Wednesday: 2 nights in Cairo, 3 nights Nile cruise, 1 night in Luxor and 1 night in Cairo.

Thursday: 1 night in Cairo, 3 nights Nile cruise, 1 night in Luxor and 2 nights in Cairo.

Saturday: 2 nights in Cairo, 4 nights Nile Cruise, 1 night in Cairo.

Sunday: 1 night Cairo, 4 nights Nile Cruise, 2 nights Cairo.

The airport transfer on arrival in Amman will be shared with other travellers in your tour group. A guide will be there to meet you on arrival, but you may be required to wait for up to two hours before leaving for the hotel, depending on the flight arrival times.

A free basic Wi-Fi connection of 4GB per stay is provided onboard the Nile Cruise. Uploading or downloading videos is not permitted due to limited bandwidth availability. Please be aware that the ship's Wi-Fi connection is dependent on satellite coverage and that there are sections of the cruise in which Wi-Fi will not be available. High-speed Wi-Fi is available to use in port only, for an extra fee of $8 USD per day.

Remember to download your e-ticket to confirm the times of your flights and to complete online check-in using the airline’s website, or directly at the check-in desk at the airport.

Accommodation at the hotels is as indicated. In the event of any changes to accommodation, they will always be of the same or a higher category. The category of hotels is not standardised across all countries in the world. For this reason, the criteria may differ depending on the destination country's own standards.

In the case of adverse weather conditions, for safety reasons or for any other reasons deemed appropriate, the order and duration of the excursions included in the itinerary may be changed or cancelled without prior notice

None of the camps offered in Wadi Rum can be considered as a Luxury option as Luxury camps do not exist in Wadi Rum. All the camps are operated by Bedouins, not Hoteliers. The standard of service is equal between camps but can't be considered equal in comparison to the other hotels offered in the tour.

Tent types and allocation in Wadi Rum are the same for both Charm and Superior Categories. You can upgrade to a Martian Tent during the next step of the booking process, or select our Luxury accommodation category as the Martian tent comes included.

If you choose the Charm or Superior category keep in mind that the hotels in Egypt are the same, only the hotels in Jordan change.

Please note that professional cameras, such as those with big zoom lenses, drones of any kind and tripods of any kind are not allowed in Jordan. Bringing these objects into the country can cause delays at the airport so please leave these items at home.
