An ancient country with deep-rooted history, wildly diverse landscapes and, needless to say, a marvellously multifaceted culture, welcome to Oman – the jewel of Arabia.
In terms of staggering beauty, Oman has its fair share, and you'll get to enjoy some of the best on this trip. From verdant oases in the middle of the desert, to ancient cities and sky-high sand dunes, you're bound to have more than one 'pinch me' moment here.
Your epic tour, which starts in the buzzy capital of Muscat, will see you visit many of the country's most-loved sites, like Muscat's Grand Mosque and old fortresses in Bahla and Nizwa, to name a few. You'll also journey into the desert and spend an unforgettable night camping among mammoth sand dunes, watching crimson sunsets and explosions of light as the stars erupt into life.
As well as a whole host of cultural activities, adrenaline junkies can also get their fix with a 4x4 driving experience in the desert, and wildlife lovers are bound to find themselves transfixed when they see nesting turtles in their natural habitat at a sanctuary in Sur.
Add to all this five luxurious hotels, two of which are right by the beach, and it's little wonder you'll leave having had the holiday of a lifetime.
