How to get there

Best Western Grand Hotel Guinigi is approximately 70 kilometres away from Florence airport, and 35 kilometres away from Pisa airport. You have the option to include car hire or airport transfers in your escape, and there is parking at the hotel (fees may apply).

Lucca: a Tuscan town

The rolling hills of the famed Tuscan countryside await you on this trip to Italy's countryside. Lucca, the ‘City of 100 Churches’, will be your home for the duration of your stay. A real showstopper, Lucca is full to the brim with pretty piazzas, mediaeval churches and cobblestone alleyways and encircled by a border of well-preserved Renaissance walls. As well as the ‘City of 100 Churches’, it’s also known as the ‘Open-Air Museum of Tuscany’ due to the plethora of sites to discover. Must-see sights include a trip up the 45-metre-tall Guinigi Tower for panoramic city views, a half-hour walk from your hotel.
