Day 1: UK - Bangkok

Thailand is a land of intrigue that has, for a long time, been associated with backpacking and soul-searching - but it offers so much more besides. Here's your chance to experience all the decadence Thailand has to offer with an epic trip that takes you from the glorious hubbub of bustling Bangkok to the inviting beaches of Phuket, with an unforgettable elephant experience in between.

You'll start your journey by touching down in Thailand's vibrant capital city, and checking-in to the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok.

Day 2-3: Bangkok

Spend your time here making your way around Bangkok's best sights, from Wat Arun and the Grand Palace to the floating market at Damnoen Saduak and the ever-evolving Riverside. With three nights here, you’ve just enough time to get to know this magical metropolis before moving on to Khao Sok National Park.

Day 4: Bangkok - Khao Sok National Park

You'll spend your next three nights at Elephant Hills, Thailand's first luxury tented camp. You'll spend your first day here getting to know these gentle giants up close, as you meet and feed them and watch them bathe in the river. Enjoy a canoe safari on the Sok River, taking in the breath-taking tropical scenery around you, before returning to camp for evening entertainment.

Day 5: Khao Sok National Park

Today, transfer to the west coast for a speedboat ride through the maze of mangrove forest channels, to meet and board a classic Burmese junk ship. Before lunch on board, you can explore the nearby mangrove creek by self-paddle canoe. Later, enjoy evening entertainment back at camp.

Day 6: Khao Sok National Park

Today, explore the little-known Cheow Larn Lake by local longtail boat, surrounded by breathtaking limestone mountains and cliffs that rise up from the lakeshore. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at your leisure, with the option of participating in the usual evening activities.

Day 7: Khao Sok National Park - Phuket

Take a guided hike to explore one of the world's oldest rainforests, before returning to camp for your transfer to Phuket.

Day 8-15: Phuket

Finally, you’ll end your holiday amid the calming climes of Phuket, with eight nights at The Village Resort & Spa. This tranquil collection of locally hand-crafted, luxurious villas blends distinctive southern Thai architecture with the incredible natural beauty of the surrounding exotic gardens. When your spirit is rested and renewed, enjoy some shopping and an array of dining options along Karon Beach, explore Phuket City, or take a short taxi ride to Patong, which comes alive after dark with its buzzing nightlife scene.

Please note that both your outbound and inbound flights are overnight, so please bear this in mind when planning the time you'll be away. The date you select as your check-in date will be the day you'll fly out from the UK, and you'll arrive in Bangkok the following day to commence your 14-night holiday. The check-out date will be the day that you'll board your inbound flight back to the UK. Since your inbound is also overnight, you'll be away for a total of 16 nights.
