Bodrum, Turkey
The stunning twin bays of Bodrum are home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, built between 350 and 353BC for Mausolus. While Bodrum has a rich history, the city is a modern playground for Turkish and foreign visitors alike, with two contrasting sides, east and west. This is also the spot in Turkey where markets are overflowing with knock-off Louis Vuitton and Prada products that are so convincing you’ll definitely be able to pass them off as the real thing when you get back home. Kusadasi, Turkey
