Sardinia

Set in an easily accessible but still remote destination, the Sardinian coastal town of Cala Gonone comprises a modern sea-faring community. Surrounded by wooded hills and mountains, it's an idyllic sight with its white sandy beach and pretty harbour. The hotel is located just outside the town.

If you like the great outdoors then you'll be in heaven hiking or climbing in the nearby limestone crags and mountains. If you want to discover other beaches, you can hire a boat from the harbour or book a trip to take you on a beach tour of the coastline. You can also visit Grotta del Bue Marino to explore its tunnels and underground streams. Check out Cala Gonone with the hotel's shuttle service into town (and to the nearest beach).
