How to get there
To get to Makundu Island, you'll need to take a speedboat transfer from Malé International Airport. The speedboat transfer is not included and takes approximately 50 minutes each way. Please see 'Offer details' for more information on fees.

Entry requirements
The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.
Kaafu Atoll
Get away it from all - far, far away in the midst of the vast Indian Ocean. Tiny Makunudu Island is barely locatable on a map, but you may be pleasantly surprised to find it’s only a 50-minute speedboat ride from Malé. There’s a PADI dive centre onsite and conveniently, a brilliant house reef that’s reachable from the beach. If exploring the depths isn’t your only hobby, the resort offers wind-surfing, canoeing and even speed-boat rental, as well as badminton and volleyball. While in paradise, why not try something truly unforgettable? Take a catamaran for a spin on the vibrant blue waves or enjoy a trip around the atoll on a dreamy island-hopping excursion (fees apply).
