Follonica
Follonica is a beautifully scenic town, and is often picked out for its clean beaches, sparkling seas and breathtaking views across the sea to Elba Island. If you can drag yourself away from the pool, head to Piombino for a ferry ride across the Tyrrhenian Sea. If water sports are more your jam, then you’ll be right at home here, with sailing, scuba diving and kite-surfing available near your hotel. For a bit of local history, visit the Castle of Valli or the Church of San Leopoldo.
