How to get there
The resort is located on Khao Lak's coast just five minutes south of Lam Ru National Park. Transfers to Phuket International take just over an hour by car.
Entry requirements
The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.
Lam Kaen
Far from the bustle of urban Bangkok, Khao Lak is where you’ll discover a vastly different side of Thailand - one that will appeal to travellers that desire to remain close to nature. The resort lies next to a mangrove that leads to a small but perfectly formed beach lined with a handful of restaurants and bars, as well as river estuaries that are abundant in marine life. You can also visit the nearby Lam Ru National Park which offers a casual coastal trail that winds through lush forest before opening up to the beach. While the immediate neighbourhood is a quiet one, the lively town of Bang La On lies a ten-minute drive north and is home to a greater variety of restaurants and nightlife spots as well as Khao Lak Beach. Adventure centres there can also organise snorkelling and trekking.
