Bangkok, Thailand

Begin your Thai getaway in the country’s cosmopolitan capital. Brimming with energy, Bangkok has some of the most impressive bars and restaurants in Asia, as well as a grand palace and endless historical attractions. Zip between gilded landmarks and modern malls by tuk-tuk, pick up exotic produce at a floating market, and sample the city’s legendary street food by night. Be sure to visit the many temples that line the riverside; Wat Phra Kaew, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is one of the most iconic, but Wat Pho, with its 46-metre-long reclining Buddha, is a must-visit too.

Khao Lak, Thailand

Enjoy pure relaxation in a mellow region just north of Phuket.
