How to get there
Rheinhotel Dreesen is approximately 30 kilometres away from Cologne Bonn airport; it’s a half-hour drive, or you can take public transport. A bus runs from the airport to Bonn Central Station, where you can change for the number 16 tram to Bad Godesberg. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to the hotel.

Bonn
A former temporary capital of Germany between 1949 and 1991, Bonn is a relaxed German city resting on the River Rhine. Known foremost as the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven, history buffs should make a beeline to Beethoven-Haus Bonn, a humble townhouse where the composer grew up. The Beethoven Festival takes place each year, with a series of concerts running through September and October. However, the city isn’t all classical music and museums: in recent years it’s taken on a lively, urban edge, evidenced by the growing number of bars, pubs, and clubs. Swig local pints at Biergarten Alter Zoll, join locals in dancing at Pawlow, or watch live music (of the non-classical variety) at Limes - which boasts a menu of over 50 beers!
