How to get there
Hotel Zur alten Post is approximately 120 kilometres away from Hamburg airport. The journey by train takes around two hours, and from the train station it’s a 15-minute walk to the hotel. It can also be reached in around an hour and a half by car, should you wish to rent; the hotel has charged parking.

Büsum
Hotel Zur alten Post is located in Büsum, on the northern stretch of Germany's North Sea coast. The hotel is a stone's throw from the water and within walking distance to the historic fishing and spa town of Büsum. Here you can walk along the water on the promenade or go on a boat trip from the harbour. Büsum is located in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Wadden Sea Nature Reserve, made up of vast mud flats and salt marshes and a prime area for spotting common seals, grey seals, porpoises or the rare white-tailed eagle.
