How to get there
Renaissance Rome’s marble facades are within walking distance, and Termini Central Station is a short underground or taxi journey away for international and local transfers. Many charter and flag-carrier airlines fly into Leonardo da Vinci Airport (28 kilometres) while low-cost carriers land at Ciampino (14 kilometres). The city's efficient metro and overground train system is a great way to get around, though the city is also pleasant to explore on foot.
