Costa Calma
The Costa Calma is, as the name suggests, a quiet area of the island blessed with lofty palms and superb beaches. Windsurfing is big here, as are idle afternoons spent enjoying the soft sands, and there are a handful of good shops, bars and restaurants in the nearby town centre, just a 10-minute stroll away.
Blue Flag-awarded Costa Calma beach is less than 15 minutes' walk away. Hire a car and you can explore the very best of the Fuerteventura's warm, breezy coastline.
