How to get there

Cook's Club Ialysos is in the area of Ialysos, in the far north of the Greek island of Rhodes. Rhodes International Airport is an easy 10-minute taxi ride away, and to ensure stress-free travel, the hotel offers an airport transfer service that can be arranged with them directly after booking (fees apply). Alternatively, if you’re arriving with your own car, there’s plenty of street parking nearby.

Entry requirements

The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Make the most of laid-back living here, or set off to explore the capital, home to very distinct Old and New Towns - discover ancient ruins at the former, and take on the night at the latter's waterfront bars.

Many of the island's beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status, so don’t feel like you need to stay put – head out and explore one of the islands 53 other sensational sandy swathes. Those in search of more energetic thrills will also find watersports and buzzy beach scenes to keep them entertained. Plus, it’s well worth venturing to Asklipion for its medieval castle ruins, Lindos for its magnificent Acropolis, and Gennadi for its beach parties.
