Peguera
The island's capital, Palma de Mallorca, is just a 25-minute drive away and well worth a visit. Must-dos here include strolling around the old quarter to marvel at the colossal Gothic cathedral La Seu, people-watching in Plaça Major, relaxing in the gardens of 13th-century Almudaina Palace, and shopping at Mercat de l'Olivar – Palma's largest food market.
Closer to home is the town of Peguera, where you’ll find restaurants and bars if the myriad offerings at the hotel aren’t enough for you. There’s a golden sandy beach right in front of the hotel, plus plenty of smaller coves just a short drive away if you’re itching for some peace and quiet.
