Captivating Cape Point

Situated along Gambia’s ‘Smiling Coast’ - so-called due to the friendliness of its people - you’ll be well-placed to get a taste of local living. A short drive or leisurely stroll will take you to the town of Bakau, whose colourful craft market and vibrant streets are well worth a visit. Nature lovers shouldn’t miss the nearby Kachikally Crocodile Pool. Closer to home, the swamp mangroves, baobab trees and enchanting woodland of Cape Creek are a birdwatcher’s paradise, while the lush vegetation of the Bakau Botanical Garden will tempt both horticulture enthusiasts and avid photographers.
