Days 1-3: Dubai, UAE

Discover the fairytale versatility of this city from your stylish and enviably-located hotel, where you’ll find yourself moments from Dubai’s shopping hotspots, cultural highlights and more. Admire architectural landmarks like the Jumeirah Palm, Burj Al Arab and the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, choose from a generous sprinkling of theme parks and grand shopping malls, or take a deep-dive into the city’s heritage at the Jumeirah Mosque and Dubai Museum.

For a sun-kissed city break, while away your weekdays at the sizzling Zero Gravity pool and beach club, where you can enjoy sensational city views, take a dip in the Insta-famous pool, or dance the night away to live DJ sets. Days 4-8: Pointe aux Cannoniers, Mauritius

After your luxe city stint, cast away to the turquoise waters and pristine beaches of Mauritius, and experience island living at its finest. The northern coast of Mauritius is home to a number of the island’s most famous resorts, from the sheltered bay of Trou aux Biches to the shops, cafés and bars of Grand Baie. Located between the two is the village of Pointe aux Cannoniers, home to the magnificent Seapoint Boutique Hotel. Set on a large white-sand beach lapped by the Indian Ocean, this enchanting beachfront base oozes relaxation and romance, and is the ideal destination for an away-from-it-all retreat.

Lazy beach days are very much in order here, while the spa offers plenty of pampering opportunities to ramp up that feel-good factor. And if you’re looking to get active, the island boasts a wealth of land- and water-based activities to choose from - canter down the beach on horseback, soar over the forests on a zipline, or make a splash with thrilling water sports and a diving session through a colourful coral reef.

The check-out date will be the day that you'll board your inbound flight back to the UK. Since your inbound is also overnight, you'll be away for a total of 10 or 12 nights.
