Day 1: UK/Ireland - Hurghada - Luxor

Welcome to Egypt - the historical land of the pharaohs, pyramids and one of the most renowned rivers in the world, the Nile. Having landed and arrived at the airport you'll transfer to MS Nile Symphony in Luxor where you’ll embark on your river adventure and spend some time getting to know the ins and outs of the ship.

Day 2: Luxor

Luxor is often called the world’s greatest open air museum, and it’s not hard to see why. As the capital of Ancient Egypt, you can discover extraordinary temples, monuments and ruins. You’ll have the chance to see the fantastically preserved ancient wonders of Karnak and Luxor Temples on an optional excursion, before spending the night here.

Day 3: Luxor - Edfu

Soak up the sun on board, or take in more of Luxor’s iconic treasures with an optional tour to the Valley of the Kings, Hatchepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon, some of the most important and impressive remains of the ancient Egyptian world. Later in the day, you’ll set sail for Edfu, where you can enjoy a relaxing overnight stay on board.

Day 4: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan

Edfu is home to one of the best preserved Egyptian temples, the stunning Temple of Horus. An optional excursion on day 4 is a great opportunity to explore this archaeological marvel, before you continue on your cruise to Aswan. On the way, a stop at Kom Ombo gives you a chance to take an optional excursion to a unique sight - the sprawling Temple of Sobek, which is dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile-head god, and the falcon-headed god, Horus. Afterwards, you’ll sail to Aswan for an overnight stop.

Day 5: Aswan

Aswan has been Egypt’s strategic and commercial gateway since antiquity, and here, you can take an optional excursion to see the famous High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philea Temple before spending the afternoon at your leisure exploring this amazing city. You’ll spend the evening on board in Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan - Edfu

In the morning you have the option of going to see the famous temple of Abu Simbel in the south of Aswan, or you can just spend a relaxed morning on the ship's sun deck soaking up the rays. In the afternoon the ship sails north back to Edfu where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7: Edfu - Luxor

On day 7 you’ll depart from Edfu and enjoy a leisurely cruise back to Luxor, where you’ll stay overnight on board. Enjoy a final farewell dinner before you leave Luxor for the tranquil beaches of Hurghada the next morning.

Days 8-10 or 8-14: Hurghada

Hurghada is a beach haven made for relaxation, with its crystal clear waters, sandy beaches and spectacular sunshine. Bask in the blissful atmosphere of your luxurious all-inclusive resort at your leisure, or take an underwater aquatic adventure on a boat trip out into the Red Sea, where the diving is some of the best in the world.

Day 11 or 15: Hurghada - UK/Ireland

Today, check out of your resort and transfer back to the airport, for your journey home.
