Days 1-3: Las Vegas, Nevada

Your fabulous escape begins in Las Vegas, the legendary cosmopolitan oasis at the heart of America’s Mojave Desert. A dizzying kaleidoscope of luxury, entertainment and one-of-a-kind thrills, the city has something to offer every traveller, from internationally-renowned gastronomy and high-end shopping to a star-studded music scene and imitations of European landmarks. You’ll find endless attractions to pull you in every direction, but bucket-list musts include a selfie with the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign, a gondola ride at The Venetian, and a fountain show at the Bellagio. Not sure where to start? Why not try an optional helicopter flight over Downtown Las Vegas and the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, taking in the city’s very own beam of Luxor, New York-New York skyscrapers, Eiffel Tower and more from above?

Days 4-5: Williams, Arizona

After a whirlwind few days in Las Vegas, today you’ll pick up your rental car and begin your epic road-trip through America’s vast desert landscape. Drive across the border of Nevada into neighbouring Arizona, and follow the historic Route 66 all the way to Williams, known as the gateway to the Grand Canyon. Spend your time drifting between atmospheric Americana stores and old-school eateries down this world-famous route, before soaking up enchanting scenery and small-town vibes on arrival. And for a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, opt for Grand Canyon Railway tickets to take in this Wonder of the World from aboard a vintage train, where you’ll spend a full day traversing through beautiful plains and canyons while enjoying live entertainment.

Days 6-7: Flagstaff, Arizona

You’re in for another scenic stretch of Route 66 today as you hit the road for Flagstaff, another beautiful city in northern Arizona. Watch as lush pine forests emerge from the enchanting mountain and desert landscape, and once here, stay up into the night to see this International Dark Sky City’s impressive celestial display. Surrounded by Native American reservations, you’ll also be close to landmarks like the Wupatki National Monument and the 700-year-old cliff dwellings of the Coconino National Forest, while the Lava River Cave, Meteor Crater and bustling Downtown are just a few of the area's many highlights.

Day 8: Page, Arizona

Your next stop is Page, the home of the magnificent Antelope Canyon and the perfect launchpad for those looking to explore the famous Monument Valley. Gaze out at local highlights like Lake Powell and Horseshoe Bend, before taking a deep-dive into all-things-canyon just east of the city centre. The best way to do this? An optional guided tour of Upper Antelope Canyon, where you’ll walk through iconic sandstone walls shaped by millions of years of water and wind, as your guide offers expert insight on the canyon’s history and best photo spots. Be sure to pack good walking shoes!

Day 9: Bryce Canyon City, Utah

Say goodbye to Arizona today as you take the wheel bound for Bryce Canyon City, framed by the breathtaking landscape of Bryce Canyon National Park. A panoramic hike or horseback ride is an absolute must, with the park’s Sunrise, Sunset and Fairyland Points offering some of the area’s finest views. Elsewhere, marvel at the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, a vast protected site whose challenging hiking trails are also highly rewarding.

Day 10: St George, Utah

Your final stop is St George, where grand 19th-century buildings and glittering Mormon temples brush shoulders with dreamy dunes and glistening sandstone cliffs. Return flights are included from your selected airport to Las Vegas, USA.

A 5kg hand luggage and a 20kg hold luggage allowance per person is included, as well as shuttle transfers in Las Vegas and car rental from day 4.
