Day 1: UK/Ireland - overnight flight

Are you set to explore the treasures of one of South America's most iconic countries? Your epic adventure starts full of excitement at your home airport, ready for your overnight-flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Touch down in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s vibrant capital, and birthplace of the Tango. After checking into your hotel you can immediately start exploring this mesmerising metropolis that seamlessly blends colonial architecture with Latino flair. Don’t miss out on sampling the local delights - dulce de leche and empanadas are not to be missed - and spending an afternoon in Plaza Dorrego to watch the locals tangoing the day away.

Day 3: Buenos Aires

Today you’ll get to go on a guided tour of the city, where you’ll admire and learn about all of the Buenos Aires’ most emblematic sights and contrasting neighbourhood, from the colourful clapboard houses of Camino in La Boca to lively Recoleta, whose arty cemetery is filled with famous mausoleums. In the evening you can opt to have dinner with a traditional tango show.

Day 4: Buenos Aires

Enjoy day four at your leisure. Why not opt for an excursion to the Tiger Delta and discover the landscapes of Río de la Plata, the charming town of San Isidro, the shores of the river Delta, and much more.

Day 5: Buenos Aires - Iguazú

After breakfast, it’s time to transfer to the airport for the next leg of your trip, Iguazú, home to the impressive Iguazú Falls on the Argentinian and Brazilian border, and the largest waterfall system in the world.

Day 6: Iguazú

Today, embark on a full-day tour of the Argentinian side of Iguazú Falls - one of the world’s natural wonders - following 800 metres of suspended walkways and views from the Falls above. Why not opt for the great adventure tour,

There’s also an optional ‘Iguazú Great Adventure tour’ that involves hiking in the Yacaratiá jungle, sailing into the Lower Iguazú River, reaching the Tres Mosqueteros Falls where you can see the falls of both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides crowned by the view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). You'll then come face-to-face with the San Martín waterfall, which makes up the largest waterfall system in the world.

Day 7: Iguazú

You’ll visit the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls today for a different perspective of the thundering waterfalls. Cross the border to Iguazu Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll then take a walk along the bridges, and soak up the panoramic views of luscious exotic scenery while listening to the thundering roar of the water. Ride the rainforest elevator down to the bottom of the waterfall, stopping at river level to take in the spectacular views. Alternatively, ascend to the Salto Floreano viewpoint for a different perspective, before continuing to Iguazu River Canyon.

Day 8: Iguazu - El Calafate

Transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate, a town near Patagonia’s Ice Field and the Los Glaciares National Park. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the town and sampling the unique cuisine on offer in this other-worldly region of Argentina. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 9: El Calafate

Another day, another glimpse into the majestic scenery of South America. You’ll journey to the Los Glaciares National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) after breakfast and see the Patagonia Ice Field, including its most famous natural phenomenon, the Perito Moreno Glacier. You’re going to get to see this glacier up close with a boat ride on Lake Rico too. For an extra thrill, opt for the mini glacier trek, stepping onto the ice of the Perito Moreno glacier, passing through Bajo de las Sombras, and crossing the walkways of Los Glaciares National Park.

Day 10: El Calafate

You have a free day to soak up the eclectic atmosphere of this unique town, or you can opt to join a glacier cruise, where you’ll venture down Lake Argentino, visit Escuadra Bay and Condoreras Wall, navigate through Los Tempanos Channel.

Day 11: El Calafate - Ushuaia

You're headed for the 'end of the world' today as you transfer to the airport for your short flight to Ushuaia. Spend the rest of the day at leisure - if you're keen to learn more about the southernmost city in the world, head to the End of the World Museum.

Day 12: Ushuaia

After breakfast, journey to Tierra del Fuego National Park, admiring its unforgettable beauty. Visit the train station at the end of the world, Lake Roca and Lapataia Bay, then in the afternoon, cross the Beagle Channel, the body of water that divides Argentina and Chile, is home to a colony of sea lions. You can even send a postcard from here, and be sure to take a picture at the Ushuaia sign, the ‘End of the World’.

Day 13: Ushuaia

Spend the day at your leisure. Take some time to simply admire the breathtaking views of the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago, or visit the nearby islands, home to beautiful penguin colonies. You could also opt for a 4x4 excursion to discover more of the region, like the Garibaldi Pass, which is the only route across the Fuegian Andes.

Day 14: Ushuaia - Buenos Aires

Today you'll fly back to Buenos Aires and enjoy your last afternoon and evening in Argentina. Why not head to the Eva Peron museum and learn more about this important figure in Argentine history.

Day 15: Buenos Aires - Night on board

After breakfast, you’ll make your way to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
