Entry requirements

Crete
Sitting pretty on the Bay of Malia, you’ll have beaches galore to explore, not to mention some spectacular cultural attractions just a short drive away. At 15 minutes away by car, Gefyri Beach is one to put near the top of your list; this small stretch of sand sits beneath the cliffs, with crystal clear waters and breathtaking views to enjoy.
A 30-minute drive along the coast will take you to Heraklion, the island’s capital, where you’ll find plenty of opportunities to shop classic souvenirs, explore museums and simply wander the historic streets. Whilst you’re in Heraklion, hop over to Ammoudara Beach; at around seven kilometres long, these sands stretch far into the distance towards the mountains, bordered by beautiful aquamarine waters. Another local must-see is the Minoan Palace of Knossos, the island’s archaeological crown jewel that’s almost 4000 years old. It’s not just Knossos, however, that features on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites - the island is scattered with them, and the Malia Minoan Palace is just a 15-minute drive from the resort.
