Days 1-3: New York City, USA

There’s nothing like being greeted by the world’s most famous skyline to get you into a New York state of mind, and from the moment you touch down, the concrete jungle you wondered at from your plane window will be yours for the taking.

You’ll find NYC’s world-famous landmarks at every turn, from the One World Observatory and 9/11 Memorial to Wall Street highlights like the Federal Hall and New York Stock Exchange. Once you’re done strolling through the sleek Financial District, head up into Soho, whose hip eateries, shops and social scene give off a decidedly edgier vibe. Further north, snap a selfie in Washington Square Park on your way to Midtown, where unmissable sights like the Empire State Building, Flatiron Building and the glamorous Chelsea neighbourhood beckon. Theatre fans should make a beeline for Broadway, while the elegant Upper East Side is home to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Frick Collection, and the beacons of luxury clustered around Central Park - think glittering avenues, high-end department stores and five-star hotels.

Days 4-10: Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Silky white sand, soaring palm trees and crystal-clear waters - it's no wonder Punta Cana regularly ranks among the world's top beach destinations. The crown jewel of the so-called Coconut Coast, Punta Cana is dotted with lavish resorts and sprawling golf courses, as well as a wealth of adventure parks, nature reserves and cosmopolitan hubs.

Explore the world beneath the waves with a snorkelling or scuba diving session, or ride the turquoise waters with thrilling water sports. For an insight into local culture, head inland to explore the surrounding Altagracia province, from the quaint Italian-style village of Altos de Chavón to the imposing Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia, one of the Dominican Republic's foremost religious sites. Thrill-seekers and nature lovers shouldn't miss Scape Park, while the nearby Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve offers an authentic taste of the tropics with its lush forests and swimmable freshwater lagoons.

Stop-over flight: Departing between 15.00 and 23.00, arriving between 15.00 and 23.55

From Punta Cana to London Gatwick, Manchester or Edinburgh via Any European, Canadian & American Hub city (with one stop-over flight):

Inbound: Departing between 05.30 and 23.55, arriving between 05.30 and 20.00
Stop-over flight: Departing between 09.00 and 22.30, arriving between 6.00 and 23.30 (following day)

Please note that your inbound flight is overnight, so please bear this in mind when planning the time you'll be away. This is a 10-night holiday. The check-out date will be the day that you'll board your inbound flight back to the UK. Since your inbound is overnight, you'll be away for a total of 11 nights.

Luggage policy	A hold baggage allowance is not included for the internal flight between New York and Punta Cana, and must be purchased at the airport during check-in.
