How to get there
Ludlow train station is conveniently located just a two-minute drive or an eight-minute walk from the hotel, and offers direct transport links to London and Wales. If arriving by car, take the A49 to Ludlow.
Good to know
Please note that the fine-dining à la carte menu is served in the Plume@Feathers restaurant Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 9pm. On Sundays, a Sunday roast is served from 12pm to 3pm, and from 6pm to 9pm. It's highly recommended to book both afternoon tea and a Sunday dinner reservation in advance.
Please note that due to ongoing maintenance, the hotel lift is out of service. Assistance with luggage will be available at all times.

Ludlow
Ludlow is a thriving market town set within the glorious Shropshire countryside. The Feathers Hotel is perfectly situated just a seven-minute walk from the town centre, which is brimming with beautiful period buildings, historic churches, bustling market stalls, old English pubs, and the 11th century clifftop setting of Ludlow Castle - which has views extending out over the winding River Teme and the Shropshire countryside beyond. Just outside of this historic town, you can also enjoy some peace and quiet amid a beautiful woodland setting, as Whitcliffe Common Nature Reserve acts as a haven for local wildlife and nature lovers alike.
If you’re venturing just a little further afield, The Shropshire Hills is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is only a 20-minute journey via car from the hotel. With its sweeping valleys and breathtaking panoramic views, there’s much to take in either by bike or on foot.
