Set right on the white sands of Kizimkazi Bay in Mchangamle, you’ll be perfectly placed to explore the Zanzibar Archipelago’s southwest. You'll be an hour's drive from Stone Town - the UNESCO-listed capital that charms with its maze of winding roads and alleyways, grandiose architecture, Palace Museum and famous Zanzibar doors. Here you can stroll along the seafront, relax in Forodhani Gardens, marvel at the Old Fort, and stake out Freddie Mercury’s former home on Kenyatta Road. Equally worthwhile is taking guided tours of spice farms, visiting Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, and taking a trip to the tortoise sanctuary on Prison Island.
