How to get there
Liburnia Hotel Admiral Opatija is approximately 85 kilometres away from Zracna luka Pula airport, roughly an hour and 30 minutes' drive. You may wish to fly into either Ljubljana Airport in Slovenia, or Zagreb Airport instead, which are a slightly longer two-hour drive away but operate consistent direct flights from London.

Opatija
A rich past and reputation precede Opatija, once one of the chicest seaside resorts in the Austro-Hungarian empire. As you wander amongst the handsome Belle Epoque villas, you’ll feel a certain sense of glamour emanating from this Croatian town. With the harbour right in front of your hotel, why not hire a yacht for the day and head to Cres, the island adjacent. You'll find plenty to do on the mainland too: take a romantic stroll along Lungo Mare, a coastal walkway which heads towards Volosko, or visit Angiolina Park, a peaceful place to spend an afternoon, with its landscaped gardens, quaint bandstand and ocean vistas for miles.
