The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Heidelberg Central Station. The closest airport is Stuttgart Airport, about an hour-and-a-half to two hours away by car or public transport.

Heidelberg is a hidden German gem, with plenty of sights to delight any traveller, from the dedicated history buff to the casual sightseer. A must-visit for all is the majestic castle - towering above the Neckar valley, its unique red sandstone façade hides beautiful Romantic interiors. While you’re there, be sure to take a stroll through the once-legendary gardens and enjoy the sweeping views across the city.
To while away the afternoon, there’s still plenty to do. Take a wander through the market square - lined with pretty pastel buildings, there’s lots of places to stop and enjoy a refreshment, or you could pop into the 14th century Gothic church that soars beyond the rooftops. Those hoping to do a little bit of holiday shopping should head down Hauptstraße (the main street), one of the longest and oldest pedestrian roads in Europe. Lined with everything from boutiques to big stores, you’re sure to find a treasure to take home with you. If you’re heading this way, you’ll also pass by Kurpfälzisches Museum - stop in to take a look at the paleolithic and ancient artefacts found in the nearby Neckar Valley, as well as their impressive collection of paintings.
