How to get there

The hotel is situated on the shores of the picturesque Lake Windemere, just south of Windemere centre. There's a train station here which offers links to Kendal, from where you can change to trains bound for Manchester or London. If you're driving from the M6, take the A590 and A591 towards Kendal then make your way from there.

Good to know

The spa and gym are open from 7am, with last entry at 6pm. Children's hours are 10am - 5pm. Should you wish to book a spa treatment, please call the hotel directly on 0344 879 9144 prior to your arrival.

The Lake District is justly renowned as one of the most beautiful areas in England, and Windermere – the largest lake in the country – is the most iconic of the lot. There’s no end of outdoor activities on offer here, from walks and hikes to suit all ability levels to birdwatching on the lake’s shore.

On the water itself, swimming, fishing and canoeing are all on offer, as are water-skiing and powerboating for the more adventurous visitor. Accessible boating and scenic ‘Miles Without Stilts’ routes are available for disabled visitors.
