How to get there
Located in Oberjoch, close to Bad Hindelang in southern Germany’s Allgäu region, the hotel is about an hour’s drive from Memmingen Airport, and two hours’ drive from Munich International Airport. You could also fly into Innsbruck Airport, which is just over two hours’ drive away across the Austrian border. For maximum ease, we recommend you hire a car to reach the hotel and explore the region.
Entry requirements
The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. Bad Hindelang
Sitting pretty at 1,136 metres above sea level, the quiet town of Oberjoch is a picturesque haven at the heart of Bavaria’s Allgäu High Alps Nature Reserve. In summer, you’ll find 300 kilometres of marked hiking trails right at your doorstep, as well as mountain biking and plenty of sporting opportunities, while in winter you’ll find 34 kilometres of slopes, 45 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, and a sprinkling of tobogganing runs all at your disposal.
