  • Unique London base: Set in a grand 19th-century library building at the heart of the London Docklands, Limehouse Library Hotel is an ode to East London’s vibrant blend of old and new. Bursting with character, design-led interiors blend sleek modern décor with bold colours and plenty of quirky touches, while individually-designed guest rooms are inspired by famous figures in the realms of politics, literature, the arts and beyond. And with a roster that includes many a free-spirited creative, your stay will be as steeped in history as it is convenient and Boho-chic.

Wake up to scrumptious continental and cooked breakfasts each morning, and return later on for an innovative menu of local and international cuisine. Elsewhere, raise a glass of pink lemonade over afternoon tea at the atmospheric Lobby Bar, and sip a handcrafted cocktail at the swanky Rooftop Bar.

Experience the benefits of a traditional hammam treatment in the opulent Turkish bath, or detox with a chill-out session in the sauna. Top it up with an indulgent massage designed to soothe weary limbs, and perhaps get your heart pumping with a workout in the gym.

Londen

Sitting pretty in the London Docklands, you’ll have East London’s fascinating highlights at your doorstep, with Canary Wharf’s sleek skyscrapers, financial hubs and the historic Museum of the London Docklands all within 20 minutes’ walk away. Further East, why not hop on a boat to Greenwich, where you can stand with one foot on either side of the Meridian line at the Royal Observatory? You’ll be just six minutes’ walk from Limehouse’s DLR station, from which you’ll be able to whizz across the city and effortlessly tick off that London bucket-list. Head westward for the sprawling Royal Parks, and hit the swanky Kensington, Chelsea and Mayfair neighbourhoods for world-class dining, luxury shopping, elegant streets and a sprinkling of museums - not-so-hidden gems include The Wallace Collection, Apsley House and Leighton House. On your way back, take a detour to Westminster Pier and catch a river cruise on the Thames to see some of the city's landmarks from the water.
