How to get there
Your hotel is roughly a 45-minute drive from Strasbourg Airport, or about two hours from Stuttgart Airport. It's also a 10-minute drive from Offenburg train station; the hotel can arrange transfers on request and for an additional fee.

Durbach
A charmingly pretty mountain village set on the edge of the Black Forest, Durbach’s local nickname, “the village of flowers and wine” sums it up perfectly. This peaceful and character-filled village is surrounded on all sides by rolling greenery, with vineyards, fruit orchards and the dense backdrop of the forest in the distance. Being close to Germany’s third-largest wine growing region, the Baden, means that there is an abundance of wine country to explore, as well as endless stretches of natural beauty to take in on rugged hikes and scenic drives. This quaint part of the country has plenty of history too - towering above the landscape, you’ll spy Stauffenberg Castle, an impressive fortress that has stood watch over the region for over 1,000 years. Make the hike up to the top to take in stunning views from its terraces, and enjoy some of the delectable local wines served up here in style.
