Capo Vaticano
Situated on Italy's southwest coast, Hotel Capovaticano Resort Thalasso and Spa overlooks the Stromboli Volcano and the Aeolian Islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Lamezia Terme Airport is just over an hour away by car and you're not far from the Capo Vaticano lighthouse, an interesting attraction that dates back to 1885.
Tropea can be reached in around 20 minutes by road, and offers an interesting historic centre, with a Franciscan monastery and a 12th-century Norman cathedral.
