  • Unbeatable Strasbourg base: Locations don’t get much better than Hotel Gutenberg’s prime spot in La Petite France, the historic heart of Strasbourg. Have a bucket-list to tick off? No problem - you’ll be a mere three-minute walk from the soaring spire of the city’s iconic cathedral, while the fairytale architecture and fascinating museums of Place du Château lie just beyond.

  • Boutique bolthole: Not one to fall short of its coveted location, the hotel has plenty to impress inside as well as out. Behind its charming period façade, boutique interiors exude understated contemporary elegance, while the occasional timber beam and sloping roof add a quaint, homely feel for an authentic experience of this historic city. Throw in sleek designs, luxurious bathrooms and all your staple modern amenities, and you’ll have everything you need for smooth and stylish stay.

  • Fabulous breakfasts: The hotel proudly showcases their signature ‘Organic & Gourmand’ breakfast each morning, featuring a rich buffet spread created with local producers. Enjoy fresh bread and flaky pastries from a renowned local bakery, perhaps alongside seasonal fruits, yoghurt from a regional dairy farm, and beloved local jams. After fuelling up with the flavours of Alsace, you’ll be all set for a memorable day out.

Straatsburg

A vibrant, cosmopolitan city with a rich history to its name, Strasbourg is an ideal city-break destination. Your enviably-located pad places you right at the centre of the action within the historic district of La Petite France, home to the city's awe-inspiring centrepiece: a towering Gothic cathedral. Stick around here to stroll through winding streets past enchanting timber-framed houses, and dip your toe in the mouthwatering blend of French and German gastronomy that is Alsatian cuisine.

Less than 10 minutes’ walk will get you to several of the city’s landmark museums, from the artworks on display at Museum Œuvre Notre-Dame to the Historical Museum of the City of Strasbourg - the perfect place to learn about the city’s centuries-old heritage. Absolutely don’t miss the lavish Palais Rohan, a glittering 18th-century palace that houses grand state rooms as well as Strasbourg’s Archaeological, Fine Arts and Decorative arts museums. Elsewhere, head north to the pretty Grande-Île neighbourhood, cross the river to visit the Alsatian Museum, and perhaps take a short drive or bus ride to see the European Parliament and the beautiful Parc de l'Orangerie.
