How to get there
The Kreischberg Pool Villas & Penthouses by ALPS RESORTS can be reached from Klagenfurt Airport in just under an hour and 20 minutes by car. If you are arriving by train to St. Lorenzen station, it’s only a short walk from the station to your accommodation.
Good to know
The Kreischberg gondola lift will be open as follows in 2024: On Friday, May 31st and all Fridays in June (June 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th); July 3rd to September 7th: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

Entry requirements

Murau District
Immerse yourself in the idyllic Alpine scenery which surrounds Sankt Lorenzen ob Murau. Lush green meadows unfold beside towering pines, while rushing waterfalls and charming wildlife parks add to the landscape. At an altitude of around 864 metres, the Murau-Kreischberg region offers endless outdoor opportunities. Hike or cycle directly from your doorstep – the scenic Mur Cycle Path conveniently passes by your accommodation, inviting you to discover the breathtaking natural surroundings.
The Ochsenberg mountain bike route also leads around twelve kilometres from the valley station up to the Kreischberg summit, whose slopes - suitable for both beginners and experienced skiers - have been decorated with numerous international awards. If you have a penchant for trendy sports, you should visit the Kreischberg DiscGolf at 1,800 metres or race from the mountain station to the middle station on monster scooters and mountain carts. Open from June until September, there is also a leisure complex near the resort which features an outdoor pool, trampoline, and tennis and volleyball courts. Possible excursions also include Murau Castle, the Steinschloss castle ruins, the Neumarkt Museum Centre or a ride on the Murtalbahn to Tamsweg.
