How to get there
The hotel is set in Diemelsee Nature Park, in Germany’s northern Hesse region. The nearest international airport is Frankfurt Airport, which is roughly 180 kilometres away and takes around two hours and 20 minutes to drive. From the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe ICE train station, it's around 75 kilometres to the hotel.

Diemelsee
Göbel's Seehotel Diemelsee welcomes you right to the shores of the lake of the same name. Come sun or snow, there’s a plethora of activities for outdoor lovers to enjoy. In the summer, hike the Diemelsteig circular with its 63 kilometres of trails, or enjoy scenic bike tours along the lake shores. In the winter months, take to the ski slopes of the many neighbouring ski areas, from Willingen, Brilon and Winterberg to Kahler Asten, which at 842 metres high is the third highest point in the Rothaargebirge mountain range.
